Text
A board member, staff member, or volunteer of a Children's Advocacy Center or Children's Advocacy Centers of North Carolina, Inc., shall be immune from civil liability arising from performance of acts within the scope of the person's duties or participation in a judicial proceeding if the person acts in good faith. Immunity under this section shall not extend to acts of gross negligence, wanton conduct, or intentional wrongdoing. (2023-96, s. 1(a).)
