Text

1.The certificates issued to veterinary technicians pursuant to sections 340.300 to 340.330 shall expire as established by board rule but may be renewed upon application to the board for renewal and payment of renewal fees.
2.At least sixty days prior to the expiration date, the executive director shall send a notice of renewal and an application for renewal to each certificate holder of record.  The notice and application shall be mailed to the certificate holder's last known business or residence address.  Failure to mail or to receive the notice and application does not relieve any certificate holder of the duty to apply for renewal or to pay the necessary renewal fee, nor will it exempt the certificate holder from the penalties provided by sections 340.200 to 340.330 for failure t
