Text
1.Permits provided for in this chapter shall be granted only to those persons, corporations, and associations who are competent to operate or maintain a dead animal transportation service or dead animal substation in such manner as to safeguard the interest of the public and only then after the applicant has provided satisfactory proof to the department that he has satisfied all requirements imposed upon him by this chapter and the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder.
2.The state veterinarian may refuse to issue a permit to any person known by him to be guilty of any of the acts or practices specified in this chapter or to any person previously permitted whose permit has been revoked or to any association or copartnership of which such person is a member, or to any corporatio
