Subdivision 1.Grounds for action.
The board has grounds to take action under sections148E.255to148E.270when a social worker is unable to practice with reasonable skill and safety by reason of illness, use of alcohol, drugs, chemicals, or any other materials, or as a result of any mental, physical, or psychological condition.
Subd. 2.Self-reporting.
A social worker regulated by the board who is unable to practice with reasonable skill and safety by reason of illness, use of alcohol, drugs, chemicals, or any other materials, or as a result of any mental, physical, or psychological condition, must report to the board or the health professionals services program.
