Subdivision 1.Requirements. The practice of social work must comply with the requirements of subdivision 2, 3, 4, or 5. Subd. 2.Licensed social worker. A licensed social worker may engage in social work practice except that a licensed social worker must not engage in clinical practice. Subd. 3.Licensed graduate social worker. A licensed graduate social worker may engage in social work practice except that a licensed graduate social worker must not engage in clinical practice except under the supervision of a licensed independent clinical social worker or an alternate supervisor according to section148E.120.
