Section 108. Whoever, himself or by his servant or agent misbrands apples within the meaning of section one hundred and five or advertises apples for sale in violation of section one hundred and three, or packs, repacks, sells, distributes or offers or exposes for sale or distribution apples which are misbranded, or packs, repacks, sells, distributes or offers for sale or distribution apples in closed or open packages so packed or repacked that the faced or shown surface gives a false representation of the color, size or quality of the other apples in the package, or packs, repacks, sells, distributes, offers or exposes for sale or distribution apples otherwise in violation of any provision of section one hundred and one to one hundred and nine, inclusive, or wilfully alters, effaces or re
