Section 4. The trustees shall determine the time and place of their meeting. Nine members shall constitute a quorum. Meetings of the board of trustees shall be subject to the provisions of said sections eleven A and eleven A1/2 of said chapter thirty A; provided, that in addition to the purposes enumerated in said section eleven A1/2, the trustees may hold an executive session for the following purposes:—

(1)to consider the award of honorary degrees;
(2)to consider the award of tenure to a member of the faculty.
