Section 64B. The Cushing Hospital shall be maintained in the town of Framingham as a chronic care hospital, primarily to provide a comprehensive program of health care services to aging citizens. Subject to the provisions of section twenty-five B to twenty-five G, inclusive, such health care services are authorized to include long term chronic care; acute inpatient and outpatient care, including but not limited to medical, surgical, restorative, and rehabilitative services; dental services; skilled nursing care and intermediate care facility services; hospice services; congregate housing services; and home health services.[ Second paragraph effective until January 9, 2025.
