Section 27E.

(a)As used in this section, the following words shall have the following meanings unless the context clearly requires otherwise:''Department'', the department of public health.''Registered sanitarian'', a sanitarian who has been duly registered by the department and who maintains such active registration.''Sanitarian'', a person with broad basic education, experience in the physical, biological and social sciences, supplemented by specialization in the field of sanitary sciences and technology, and who is qualified to carry out instructional and inspectional duties and enforce the laws in the field of environmental sanitation.
