A.An assignment of leases and rents that was recorded prior to January 1, 2015, shall be subject to the reinscription requirements of Chapter 2 of Title XXII-A of Book III of the Civil Code, with the modifications provided in this Section.
B.Except as otherwise provided in Subsection C of this Section, the effect of recordation of an assignment of leases and rents that was recorded in the conveyance records prior to January 1, 2015, and that remained effective against third persons on that date shall continue, without the necessity of recordation in the mortgage records, until the date that filing of a notice of reinscription is required under Chapter 2 of Title XXII-A of Book III of the Civil Code or December 31, 2024, whichever first occurs.
