§4401. Pledge of the lessor's rights in the lease of an immovable and its rents Any obligation may be secured by a pledge of the rights of a lessor or sublessor in the lease or sublease of an immovable and its rents made in accordance with Chapter 2 of Title XX-A of Book III of the Civil Code. The rights of the lessee under a lease, or of a sublessee under a sublease, are not susceptible of pledge.
