§1731. Legislative findings
To ensure the viability of the state's natural resources, to provide a continuing energy
source for the citizens and businesses of Louisiana, to promote economic development
through job retention and creation in Louisiana, and to promote a clean and lasting
environment, the Louisiana Legislature finds that the state, through the Department of
Conservation and Energy, should promote the generation and use of the renewable energy
derived from wind.
