§2103. Recordation of ordinance creating district; publication
Certified copies of all ordinances of police juries creating irrigation districts under the provisions of this Part shall be recorded in the mortgage records of each parish in which any of the land is situated comprising the irrigation district.
The ordinance creating the irrigation district, after having been so recorded, shall be published once a week for two successive weeks in the official journal of each parish in which any lands of the district are situated. If there is no official journal in a parish, then copies of the ordinance shall be posted on the principal front door of the court house of the district court of each parish in which any lands of the district are situated, and shall also be posted at not less than fou
