§3709. Issuance and renewal of license and state certificate
A.The board shall issue a license or state certificate to any person who meets the
qualifications provided in this Chapter and the rules and regulations of the board, and who
pays the applicable fees fixed by the board.
B.A license or state certificate issued under provisions of this Chapter shall be
subject to annual renewal and shall expire and become null and void unless renewed in the
manner prescribed by the board.
C.License and state certificate renewal shall require documentation of completion
of the continuing education as required by this Chapter.
NOTE: See R.S. 37:3718 regarding termination date of Chapter on July 1, 2028.
