§ 37:2708 — Qualification; licensed clinical social worker

§2708. Qualification; licensed clinical social worker A. No individual shall be eligible for licensure by the board as a licensed clinical social worker unless the individual:
(1)Is of good moral character and whose screening for criminal history pursuant to
R.S. 37:2710 contains no disqualifying information.
(2)Holds a master's degree from an accredited graduate school of social work.
(3)Has completed at least three thousand hours of postgraduate social work practice
over a minimum of two years and a maximum of four years while under the supervision of
a board-approved clinical supervisor. The board shall consider circumstances warranting
more than four years to complete this experience requirement.
(4)Has passed an examination approved by the board.
