§2705. Board; meetings; powers A. The board shall hold meetings at least semiannually. The board shall elect annually from its membership a chair, vice chair, and secretary/treasurer. Meetings may be called by the chair or upon written request of four members of the board or by the governor. The board shall meet as often as necessary and four members shall constitute a quorum. B. An administrator, who shall not be a member of the board, shall be employed to serve the board and his or her salary shall be provided for under R.S. 37:2716(B). The board may employ such other persons as may be necessary to carry out its duties under this Chapter. C.
