§20. Department of Public Safety and Corrections, office of state police A.
(1)The Department of Public Safety and Corrections, office of state police, shall:
(a)Conduct investigations and audits regarding the qualifications of applicants for
licenses or permits requiring suitability determinations as required by law or rule or
determined necessary by the board.
(b)Submit all investigative reports to the board for analysis, review, and action
pursuant to the provisions of this Title.
(c)Conduct audits to assist the board in determining compliance with all gaming
laws, rules, and regulations on gaming activities and operations under the board's
jurisdiction.
(d)Issue the following licenses and permits in accordance with rules adopted by the
board:
(i)Non-key gaming employee permits.
