§ 27:16 — Chairman; power and duties

The chairman of the board may:
(1)Enter into contracts not to exceed twenty thousand dollars on behalf of the board.
(2)Represent the board in any matter.
(3)Make recommendations to the board on any matter within its jurisdiction.
