Text

A.The committee on parole, hereinafter referred to as "the committee", shall cause a complete record to be kept of every prisoner released on parole. Such records shall be organized in accordance with the most modern methods of filing and indexing so that there will be always immediately available complete information about such prisoner. The committee may make rules as to the privacy of such records and their use by persons other than the committee and its staff. In determining the rules regarding dissemination of information regarding convicted sex offenders, child predators, or persons determined to be sexually violent predators under the committee's jurisdiction, the committee shall institute rules pursuant to the provisions of R.S. 15:546, and shall be immune from liability for the r
