§ 39-1210 — Furnishing or selling surplus equipment, supplies and materials to organizations designated in K.S.A. 39-1208 for manufacturing certain motor-vehicle plates and decals; disposition of moneys

(a)In the event that any organization or institution designated in K.S.A. 39-1208, and amendments thereto, is a party to any contract authorized by K.S.A. 8-147, and amendments thereto, for the manufacture and distribution of motor-vehicle number plates, registration decals, prorate license plates and prorate backing plates, the secretary of corrections shall transfer all surplus equipment, supplies and materials used in the manufacture or distribution of said plates or decals to the secretary of revenue who may furnish such equipment pursuant to long-term lease agreements to any such organization or institution and may sell such supplies and materials to any such organization or institution if such contract provides therefor.
