Each joint drainage district incorporated under the provisions of this act shall be a body politic and corporate and shall have all the powers, duties, authority and jurisdiction now or hereafter conferred by law on drainage districts organized under the provisions of article 4 of chapter 24 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated, and any acts amendatory thereof or supplemental thereto, including the powers conferred on the board of directors of drainage districts so organized and shall be governed thereby.
In addition to the foregoing powers, each joint drainage district organized under this act shall have the power to select a residence or home office for the joint drainage district, which shall be at a place in a county in which the joint drainage district or any part thereof is located and m
