Text

Each year after the election of the first board of supervisors, at a time and place designated by the board of supervisors, the landowners within the drainage district shall meet and elect supervisors of the district. Unless waived in writing, notice of the time, date and place of such meeting shall be mailed at least 15 days prior to the meeting to the last known address of each owner of land in the district. Such notice shall be published once each week for two consecutive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation in the district. Such notice shall be mailed and published by the secretary of the board. All such elections shall be conducted in the manner provided by K.S.A. 24-605, and amendments thereto.
