§ 24-448 — Contracts with federal agencies
That the board of directors of any drainage district shall have power to contract with any commissioner, officer, board of officers or other agency of the United States for the purpose of securing the construction, maintenance, or repair, or the aid, assistance or co-operation of the United States in the construction, repair, or maintenance, of any levee or part thereof or other work to prevent overflow or improve the channel of any watercourse within such district, and to this end may turn over to such agency of the United States the use and control of its right of way and of any part of its levees, and may place its employees and officers at the disposal of and under the direction of such agency of the United States, and generally may enter into any arrangement or agreement with any offi
