Text

(a)If repairs to a system become necessary, the county must give written notice to the contractor to make the repairs. If the contractor fails to begin the repairs not later than thirty
(30)days after the notice is received, the county may do the following:
(1)Make the repairs using the county's own employees or an independent contractor.
(2)Recover from the contractor and the contractor's sureties the reasonable cost of the repairs and the cost of the supervision and inspection of the repairs.
(b)At the expiration of the guarantee period, the county has sixty
(60)days in which to notify the contractor of any necessary repairs.
