Text

The board of directors of a public transportation corporation may enter into agreements with any urban mass transportation system operating in territory contiguous to the taxing district of the corporation, for:

(1)the operation and maintenance of that system, including the use, sale, or lease of the real and personal property necessary for operation of the system; or
(2)the transfer of passengers between that system and the system owned by the corporation, with a special rate to be charged for those passengers. [Pre-Local Government Recodification Citation: 19-5-2-22 part.] As added by Acts 1981, P.L.309, SEC.77.
