Text

(a)At least ten (10) days before the date fixed for a hearing under section 8 of this chapter, the engineer of the unit shall file with the works board an estimate of the maximum cost of the improvement proposed by the works board.
(b)The estimate must include the following:
(1)The cost of the guarantee under section 25 of this chapter.
(2)The cost of the maintenance of the improvements for at least three (3) years.
(c)A unit may not enter into a contract under the preliminary resolution if the contract exceeds the engineer's estimate filed under subsection (a).
