§ 36-9-31-6 — Taxing units; ad valorem tax levies; user fee

The service district and the waste disposal district may impose ad valorem property tax levies for the purpose of paying for waste collection, or waste disposal. However, notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter, if a property tax is levied for waste collection, a user fee may not also be charged for waste collection or animal control.
