§ 36-9-30-8 — Contracts or agreements necessary to performance of board's duties

The board may take all steps and proceedings
and enter into all contracts or agreements necessary or incidental to the
performance of its duties and the execution of its powers under this
chapter. However, any contract relating to the financing of the
acquisition, construction, or purchase of facilities for the collection and
disposal of solid waste must be approved by the fiscal body of the unit
before it is effective.
