Text

(a)The county treasurer shall act as treasurer of the flood control board and the flood control district. The county treasurer shall make all collections of the special benefit taxes levied by the board, without any additional compensation other than that allowable in the case of the collection of general taxes by the treasurer.
(b)The county treasurer shall give bond in the amount and with the surety prescribed by the flood control board. The cost of the bond shall be paid out of the revenues of the district. [Pre-Local Government Recodification Citation: 19-4-18-7 part.] As added by Acts 1981, P.L.309, SEC.105.
