(a)Whenever a contract under this chapter calls for a payment to be made to the contractor on the completion of work, the county surveyor shall inspect the work done and file with the board a written report approving or disapproving the work. The board may not allow a claim for the payment until the surveyor's report shows the work to be approved.
(b)After the acceptance of the work by the county surveyor, the contractor shall file with the board a verified statement that all expenses incurred for labor and material, except for any expenditures specified in the statement, have been paid in full.
