Text
(a)Each member of the board and each
person employed by the board under this chapter shall be paid at a rate
equal to that provided by law for state employees for each mile
necessarily traveled while performing the duties of the member's or
employee's office.
(b)The county fiscal body may provide the members of the county
executive who serve as members of the board with per diem for their
services as members of the board, in an amount fixed by the county
fiscal body for each day or major part of a day devoted to the work of
the board.
(c)Each appointed freeholder member serving on the board is
entitled to a per diem in an amount fixed by the county fiscal body for
each day or major part of a day devoted to the work of the board.
