2. As used in this chapter, "officer in charge of the investigation" means the following:
(1)The police officer in charge of the investigation of a complaint
made against, or an internal investigation of, a police officer.
(2)The member or official of the fire department in charge of the
investigation of a complaint made against, or an internal
investigation of, a firefighter.
