§ 36-8-19-17 — Member residency

Indiana·Title 36 LOCAL GOVERNMENT·Art. 8 PUBLIC SAFETY·Ch. 19 Fire Protection Territories

A firefighter who is a member of the fire department of a fire protection territory is not subject to residency requirements but must:

(1)have adequate means of transportation into the jurisdiction served by the member's fire department; and
(2)maintain telephone service to communicate with the member's fire department.
