6.

(a)This section applies to eligible employees of the departments of:
(1)Warren County, retirement plan effective January 1, 2008;
(2)Pike County, retirement plan effective January 1, 2010; and
(3)Perry County, retirement plan effective January 1, 2018; who were employed by the respective department on the specified effective date of a retirement plan established under this chapter.
(b)An eligible employee to whom this section applies is granted service credit in the applicable retirement plan as of the effective date of the retirement plan for the eligible employee's service with the department before the effective date of the retirement plan to the extent that the eligible employee accrued service credit in the public employees' retirement fund for the eligible employee's service
