Text

(a)An eligible political subdivision that:
(1)is not a member of the MPO; and
(2)is in a county adjacent to a county that:
(A)is a member of the MPO; or
(B)contains a member of the MPO; may join the MPO under this chapter.
(b)An eligible political subdivision described in subsection (a) may join the MPO under this chapter only if:
(1)the governing body of the eligible political subdivision adopts a resolution authorizing the eligible political subdivision to become a member of the MPO; and
(2)the MPO adopts a resolution authorizing the eligible political subdivision to become a member of the MPO.
(c)An eligible political subdivision becomes a member of the MPO upon the passage of a resolution under subsection (b)(2) authorizing the eligible political subdivision to become a member
