§ 36-7-4-1002 — Remedies and enforcement; stay order

After the owner of, or a person in charge of the work on, the premises affected has received notice that an appeal has been filed with the board of zoning appeals, the official or board charged with the enforcement of an ordinance, under the 600 series of this chapter, may order the work stayed and call on the police power of the municipality or county to give effect to that order.
