(a)In making a survey of a municipality under this chapter, a professional surveyor shall adhere as nearly as possible to boundary lines between tracts. If the owners of adjacent tracts do not agree on the location of the boundary line between them, the professional surveyor shall give all interested parties ten (10) days' notice that, at a specified time, the professional surveyor will establish the boundary line. The line established is the correct boundary line, but an aggrieved party may appeal from the survey in the same manner as is provided by IC 36-2-12-14 for an appeal from a survey made by a county surveyor. However, an appeal does not delay the completion of the survey and plat.
