Text

(a)Except as provided in subsection (b), a commissioner of a housing authority may not be an officer or employee of the unit for which the authority is created.
(b)A member of a redevelopment commission established by a unit under IC 36-7-14 may be a commissioner of a housing authority of the unit. [Pre-Local Government Recodification Citation: 18-7-11-5 part.] As added by Acts 1981, P.L.309, SEC.37. Amended by P.L.26-1993, SEC.7; P.L.263-1993, SEC.1.
