Text
(a)Officers and members of the authority
other than the resident manager are not eligible as tenants under this
chapter. This section may not be construed to prevent an existing tenant
from being appointed to the housing authority board. However,
employees of the authority are eligible as tenants under this chapter.
(b)Employees of the United States, the state, and their political
subdivisions and agencies may not comprise more than twenty-five
percent (25%) of the tenants in a housing project.
(c)This section does not limit the power of an authority to vest
rights in an obligee under section 33 of this chapter free from all the
restrictions imposed by this section.
