Text

(a)A housing authority may employ an executive director, technical experts, and other permanent and temporary officers, agents, and employees required by the authority, and may determine their qualifications, duties, and compensation.
(b)If a housing authority needs legal services, it may call upon the attorney for the unit or may employ its own counsel and legal staff.
(c)A housing authority may delegate powers and duties to its agents and employees.
(d)A housing authority may contract for and purchase adequate pension plans on behalf of those employees. The plans may be purchased from any insurance company licensed to sell such plans in the state, or from any other financial institutions that are approved by a federal agency with which the authority has dealings, notwithstanding any
