§ 36-7-14-31 — Urban renewal plans

An urban renewal project undertaken under this chapter must be undertaken in accordance with an urban renewal plan for the area of the project. For purposes of this chapter, an urban renewal plan is a plan for an urban renewal project that:

(1)conforms to the general plan for the municipality or county as a whole; and
(2)is sufficiently complete to indicate:
(A)land acquisition, demolition and removal of structures, redevelopment, improvements, and rehabilitation proposed to be carried out in the area of the urban renewal project;
(B)zoning and planning changes, if any;
(C)land uses;
(D)maximum densities;
(E)building requirements; and
(F)the plan's relationship to definite local objectives respecting appropriate land uses, improved traffic, public transportation, public utilities,
