§ 36-7-11-9 — Assistance from unit officials; legal counsel

(a)Each official of the unit who has
responsibility for building inspection, building permits, planning, or
zoning shall provide any technical, administrative, or clerical
assistance requested by the commission.
(b)The attorney for the unit is the attorney for the commission.
However, the commission may employ other legal counsel authorized
to practice law in Indiana if it considers it to be necessary or desirable.
