2.

(a)This subsection applies to townships in a county containing a consolidated city. The voters of each legislative body district established under section 2.5 of this chapter shall elect one (1) member of the township board.
(b)This subsection applies to townships not included in subsection
(a). The voters of each township shall elect all the members of the township board.
