2. Within a reasonable time after an ordinance of the legislative body is adopted, the clerk-treasurer shall record it in a book kept for that purpose. The record must include:

(1)the signature of the executive;
(2)the attestation of the clerk-treasurer; and
(3)the date of each recorded item. The record or a certified copy of it constitutes presumptive evidence of the adoption of the ordinance. As added by Acts 1980, P.L.73, SEC.19.
