§ 36-5-1-21 — Approvals of proceedings to incorporate town across county boundaries commenced before July 1, 1999
Notwithstanding sections 2 and 10.1 of this
chapter, as in effect July 1, 1999, proceedings commenced before July
1, 1999, to incorporate a town across county boundaries is only
required to have the approval of the county executive of the county that
contains all or a major part of the territory sought to be incorporated.
