Text
The city legislative body may by ordinance establish the position of deputy mayor, who serves as the city executive's deputy. The ordinance must:
(1)provide that the deputy is appointed by and serves at the
pleasure of the executive; and
(2)set forth all the powers of the deputy, which may not exceed
the powers of the executive.
