6.

(a)For purposes of this chapter, the acreage of the territory sought to be annexed that is covered by a public or private lake shall not be considered when determining whether the territory meets the population density or subdivision percentages required by this chapter.
(b)This section does not affect the definition of "contiguous" prescribed by section 1.5 of this chapter.
