Text
This section applies only to an individual
appointed to fill a vacancy in an office described in section 1 of this
chapter. An individual described in this section may, but is not required
to, take training courses required by section 2 of this chapter. If an
individual described in this section takes a training course required by
section 2 of this chapter for an office described in section 1 of this
chapter, the consolidated city shall pay for the training course as if the
individual had been appointed to an office described in section 1 of this
chapter.
