Text

(a)The following persons may use their own conveyances when necessary for the performance of their official duties, and are entitled to a sum for mileage at a rate determined by the county fiscal body:
(1)The county surveyor, if authorized by the county executive to use the county surveyor's own conveyance.
(2)The county coroner, if authorized by the county executive to use the county coroner's own conveyance.
(3)A deputy or other employee of the county surveyor or county coroner, if authorized by the county executive to use the deputy's or employee's own conveyance.
(4)A deputy or other employee of the county assessor, if engaged in field work and authorized by the assessor to use the deputy's or employee's own conveyance. An assessing team is entitled to only one (1) sum for mileage
