§ 36-2-6-6 — Claim for work on contract; certification of supervisor; allowance

(a)The county executive may allow a contract
claim for work that was to be conducted under the supervision of the
county surveyor, or an architect, engineer, superintendent, or inspector
appointed by the executive, only if that supervisor certifies in writing
on the claim that the work listed in the claim has been performed
according to the contract and that the claim is due and owing under the
contract. The supervisor's certificate must be filed with the claim.
(b)A county executive may not allow a claim on a contract covered
by this section solely on the basis of the supervisor's certificate.
